Opportunity:

Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

Hospital medicine program expanding to cover private patients

On-site coverage during shifts including weekends and nights

No call required

Round on 20-24 patients per day with a daily census of approximately 50 patients

Approximately 12 daily admissions with no consults

100-bed facility with an open ICU - rounding in the ICU included

Rural, community-based patient population with bread and butter internal medicine cases - no trauma

Procedures and ventilator management performed in collaboration with Pulmonology and Cardiology

Ability to perform procedures if signed off, though no specific procedures are strictly required

Full support staff available including Nursing, Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Lab, and more

Outpatient follow-up handled by community providers
