Henderson, Nevada - Pediatrics Hospitalist Job

Start Date: ASAPPosition: Permanent, Full-TimeSchedule: 12 twelve-hour shifts per monthLocation Requirement: Must reside in the immediate local area; relocation may be required.

Position Overview

• Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy 30-bed pediatric ER.
• ER volume approaches 55,000 patients annually.
• Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams.
• Work alongside child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents, as well as Pediatric ER fellows.
• Full-time schedule consisting of twelve 12-hour shifts per month.
• Full scribe coverage provided to enhance efficiency and patient care.
• Collaborate with affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Open to BC/BE candidates, including new graduates and experienced providers.
• Recent inpatient experience is required.

Requirements

• Board Eligible within 5 years of residency or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Active Nevada medical license.
• Current or recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Active DEA.
• CSR/CDS required.
