- Schedule: Variable 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; night shifts urgent during 12/29/26-1/4/27
- Patient Population: Adult
- Location: Ketchikan, AK
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates
- Weekly direct deposit
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Supportive credentialing assistance
- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
- Flexible scheduling
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care and manage ICU patients
- Perform rounding and admissions
- Manage ventilation, conduct intubations, and perform central line placement
- Work independently, managing both med/surg and ICU units
- MD with experience in internal or family medicine
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS from AHA or American Red Cross
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Documentation of clinical activity representative of requested privileges in the last 24 months (waived for recent graduates)
- Preferred to be a licensed candidate
- Variable 12-hour shifts, with priority for night coverage
- Expect intermittent 1-week shift coverage
- Proficient in ventilation management and ICU procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and independent work capability
- Excellent communication and patient care management skills
