- Shift: 24-hour shifts with handoffs at 4am or 4pm
- Hours/Week: 10-15 shifts per month (approx. 40-60 hours weekly)
- Employment Type: Locum/Temporary
- Licenses/Certs: Medical License in ND or eligible for licensure, Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics
- Experience: Pediatric inpatient care experience preferred, including neonates and admitted patients
- Pay Package: Competitive hourly rates (Tier 1 or Tier 2 levels apply, starting around $250/hour)
- Benefits:
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

- Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements
- Robust referral bonus program
- Admit patients from the ER and manage pediatric inpatients
- Cover neonates and admitted children, conducting rounds and providing medical care
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Respond to patient needs during 24-hour shifts, including on-call duties
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
- Support hospital staff with pediatric coverage during the assigned dates
- Active medical license in North Dakota or eligible for licensure
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- Prior experience in pediatric inpatient or hospitalist care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
