Hospitalist Physician

Join Our Team as an OB Hospitalist in Pueblo, Colorado!
The UCHealth Medical Group is thrilled to invite applications for the position of OB Hospitalist at Parkview Medical Center, located in the vibrant city of Pueblo, Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated physician to be part of a team committed to providing exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care. Our facility is a 269-bed community hospital with approximately 140 deliveries per month, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact in the local community.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive in-house obstetric care, including labor management, deliveries, obstetric triage, gynecologic consultations, emergent gynecologic surgeries, and management of acute clinical issues.
• Enjoy a sustainable schedule of 7 to 8 twenty-four-hour shifts per month.
• Collaborate with a Level II-B NICU team providing care for newborns delivered at 31 weeks' gestation and beyond.
• Work alongside experienced CNMs every shift, supported by dedicated OB/GYN back-up coverage.
• Utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record platform to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - REQUIRED
• Eligible for visa support (J1 or H1B) if applicable - REQUIRED
• DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in OB/GYN
• Colorado medical license (active or in process)
• DEA certification required prior to start
