Position Overview
This is an urgent locum tenens position for a Pediatric Hospitalist covering inpatient call. The role focuses on neonatal care with approximately 80% NICU and 20% pediatric patient coverage, including NICU patients down to 32 weeks and newborn resuscitations. The provider should be a pediatric hospitalist with neonatology experience or a neonatologist comfortable seeing pediatrics.

Schedule: 24-hour beeper call from October 16 at 6am through October 19 at 6am.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have a clean credentialing file. Physicians with large settlements, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges.

Key Responsibilities
Required clinical skills and procedures:
- Neonatal airway management including intubation
- Management of neonatal air leak and pneumothorax including needle decompression
- Emergent UVC placement in the delivery room
- UVC and UAC placement
- Lumbar puncture
- EKG interpretation
Preferred skills:
- Ventilator management
- Chest tube insertion for neonates
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call from October 16 at 6am through October 19 at 6am.
Candidate Requirements
