A well-established, physician-owned urology practice in Indianapolis is seeking an additional Urology Hospitalist to join its growing team! The practice has a strong regional presence, multiple clinical locations, and a comprehensive range of urologic services, providing physicians with the resources and infrastructure of a large, established group while maintaining a physician-led culture.
This opportunity offers a highly focused acute-care practice centered entirely on inpatient urology, including hospital consultations, emergency department evaluations, transfers, and urgent surgical care. The position is ideal for a urologist seeking a predictable schedule, significant time off, and a practice focused exclusively on hospital-based care.
Position Highlights:
Dedicated Urology Hospitalist role providing continuous 24-hour coverage
7 days on / 7 days off schedule, with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off option also available
100% hospital-based practice, with no outpatient clinic responsibilities
Approximately 26 weeks off per year
Join a multidisciplinary team of urologists and advanced practice providers, with access to additional subspecialty expertise
Predictable, shift-based scheduling
Strong clinical, administrative, and operational support
Leadership and professional development opportunities
EMR: iSalus UroChoice
Opportunity to help further develop and expand a dedicated hospital-based urology program
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried position of $650,000, annually.
Signing bonus
Comprehensive benefits package including health, malpractice, retirement, CME allowance, and relocation support
Professional liability coverage, including tail
Partnership opportunity in the practice
