Pediatric Hospitalist job in undefined OH

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage in Ohio. This part-time inpatient opportunity focuses on newborn care in a low-acuity Labor and Delivery setting, with flexible scheduling for providers available at least 5 days per month.

Overview

• 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM
• Overnight call may be taken from the hotel from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Approximately 17-20 shifts available per month across the coverage team
• Minimum availability of 5 days per month
• Inpatient newborn care in Labor and Delivery
• 100% pediatric, primarily newborns
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn assessments
• Review newborn hearing test results
• Review laboratory results
• Coordinate with Labor and Delivery staff regarding incoming patients
• Provide newborn care in a low-acuity setting

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one
• Active DEA registration
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
