Advocate Health with Hugh Chatham is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Nocturnist to join our established hospital medicine team in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina. Position Highlights
- Full-time Nocturnist position
- 7-on / 7-off schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight shifts
- Admit and manage hospitalized adult patients
- Respond to acute patient care needs, rapid responses, and medical emergencies
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and day-shift providers
- Coordinate transfers when higher levels of care are required
- Ensure thorough and effective handoff communication to the daytime team
Training and/or Experience Required
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
- ACLS certification required
- Prior Hospital Medicine experience preferred
- New graduates will be considered for this opportunity
