Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Doniphan, Missouri. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to improve outcomes for post-acute and long-term care patients. You will partner with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while providing clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities.

Location opportunities include local coverage in Doniphan with nearby facilities in Columbia, St. Charles, Springfield, and Strafford, Missouri, and additional openings nationwide in GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MI, MO, NC, OH, TN, and WI.

Key features:
  • Part-time commitment; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week
  • No fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
  • Typical caseload of 18-25 visits per day

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
