Join a collaborative team providing high-quality medical care across skilled nursing facilities in Temperance, Michigan. This part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician role offers flexible scheduling, strong multidisciplinary support, and the opportunity to influence care for post-acute and long-term patients. You will work closely with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while providing clinical oversight and leadership at assigned facilities.

Local facility opportunities: Bad Axe, East Jordan, Grayling, Holland, Houghton Lake, Manistique, Mount Pleasant, Ovid, and St. Joseph, MI.
Additional openings nationwide: GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MO, NC, OH, TN, and WI.

Key highlights
  • Part-time role: typical coverage of each facility 1-2 days per week
  • No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
  • Average daily patient volume: 18-25 visits

Requirements
  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
