Job Details

We're looking for a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in the Hutchinson, Kansas area. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of post-acute and long-term care patients. You'll work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care while providing clinical leadership and oversight at assigned facilities.

Where you might work
  • Local opportunities in Kansas include Cottonwood Falls, Parsons, Sedan, Wilson, and McPherson.
  • We also have openings across the country in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

What the schedule looks like
  • Part-time coverage of local skilled nursing facilities.
  • Physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week.
  • No fixed daily start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities.
  • Expect to see about 18-25 patients per day.
  • The schedule is designed to support a strong work-life balance.
  • Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
